Unics Kazan defeated Zenit St. Petersburg 65-77 to stay atop Group G with a 3-1 record. Dmitry Sokolov scored 5 points for the winners.

Cedevita - Virtus Acea 91-90 OT
Cedevita Zagreb held on to beat Virtus Rome 91-90 after overtime on Tuesday in the Croatian capital. Rok Stipcevic had a great game with 27 points, 2 assists and 4 steals.

Khimky - PAOK 102-68
Khimki Moscow Region thrashed PAOK Thessaloniki 102-68 in Group J and took a step forward on the way to the Eurocup Eighthfinals as the group leader with a 3-1 record. Khimki used a 10-2 run that bridged the first two quarters to get a 30-18 margin, which they increased to 49-30 late in the second with 8 consecutive points. After leading 51-36 at halftime, Khimki further increased the margin into the 30s for a comfortable win. Petteri Koponen led the winners by scoring 21 points on 3-of-5 shooting from downtown. Sergey Monya added 16, Tyrese Rice scored 12 and dished 8 assists, James Augustine pulled down 12 rebounds for coach Kurtinaitis.

Ploiesti - Valencia 84-100
Valencia Basket left Romania happy with an 84-100 victory over CSU Asesoft Ploiesti in Group N. Valencia took sole possession of second place in the group with a 2-2 record behind undefeated Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. Asesoft dropped to 1-3. Kresimir Loncar scored 4 points for Valencia, Dragan Labovic added 2 for Romanians.

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar coached by Sergey Bazarevich became the first team to clinch a berth in the eighthfinals by downing visiting SLUV Nancy 85-70 on Wednesday. Lokomotiv remained undefeated this season and improved to 4-0 in Group N. In fact, the team’s 15th consecutive Eurocup victory – dating back to its championship game victory in 2013 – tied Khimki Moscow Region’s record for most consecutive Eurocup victories. Alexey Zhukanenko scored 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Andrey Zubkov added 2.

Adam Lapeta and Fedor Dmitriev scored 14 points each for Dzukija in last round loss against Neptunas.

Julian Wright registered another double-double in Isreali League. This time he scored 11 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (8 off!) against Hapoel Jerusalem.

Coach Ainars Bagatskis and his Nizhny Novgorod dominated Anadolu Efes Istanbul from start to finish for a historic 109-90 victory on Friday. They racked up 65 first-half points, which were the second-most ever in a Euroleague game since the turn of the century. The hosts improved to 2-2 in Group F.
